    Rappahannock was beached during an infamous gale in July of 1911. 70 mph winds and heavy seas conspired against her. She sank along a step underwater incline, no lives were lost. Intact, this wreck contains a covered walkway, below desks you'll find a carpenters bench, stove, utensils, machinery and the engine.
