On Thursday January 30th, Toronto Chapter held the first monthly meeting of the year. It was time to elect new committee members and chat about the direction and projects for this chapter.

We met a bit early for a bite at the Queen’s Head pub in Scarborough and the meeting began promptly at 7:02 pm

The 2013 Chapter Chair, Dar Spray spoke briefly about the very successful year that the chapter had. We acquired new members, ran a NAS, regular meetings and had an amazing mooring project start and finish!!The bank balance is VERY healthy and our chapter treasurer for 2013, Beecher Hickox gave a brief report.

* note Beecher has now decided to leave us *** looking for a TREASURER, please come to our next meeting and we will hold an election for this position*** until the position is filled, Beecher will remain.

I am also looking for someone to type minutes and look after some posting on the site and Facebook.

Mooring install/maintenance/continue to look after them through inspection underwater
Survey of P.B Locke-defered until we have a larger group to discuss

Jim Kozmik spoke about his project for filming the Great Lakes as part of a story line.
