Save Ontario Shipwrecks Board of Director and Chapter Chair Meeting Highlights

The Save Ontario Shipwrecks Board of Director and Chapter Chair meeting was held on February 23, 2019 at the Toronto Airport Comfort Inn.

A motion was approved to declare the Manitoulin Chapter Inactive

A motion was also approved to contact the Barrie Chapter to determine if they remain Active

A discussion was held regarding the status of several other chapters.  In order to remain active these chapters are required to notify corporate of their executive and need to file Chapter workbooks to be eligible for revenue sharing.

The Durham/Northumberland Chapter was represented by Paul Darnborough

The Hamilton Chapter was represented by Walther Irie via email

The Toronto Chapter was not represented

Provincial Membership will reach out to the listed executive of these chapters to determine their intentions prior to the AGM tentatively scheduled for June 1, 2019

Margaret Barker has resigned as Quartermaster of SOS Ships Stores
