Dear Members,

The Board of Directors and I are pleased to announce that; this year Save Ontario Shipwrecks will be holding our Annual General Meeting at the Port Dover Marine Museum in Port Dover, Ontario on Saturday, April 13th, at 2:00 pm. This AGM will be held in conjunction with the return of the annual Forum Event which has not been held in many years. We look forward to making this an annual event to give more opportunities to members to complete their NAS program qualifications as well as become better stewards of our Marine Heritage.

Forum / AGM
The SOS Forum will include a full day of speakers (Saturday April 13th) and will break in the afternoon for our AGM. The following day (Sunday April 14th) there will be a number of workshops available as well. The Forum and Workshops count towards your NAS program. See details online. Please note that there IS a cost to attend the Forum event.
$25 or members, $30 for non-members
The AGM will, as usual, be open to all members in good standing at no charge.

Those attending only the AGM may arrive at any time after 12:30 pm for Lunch.

Those attending the Forum will arrive at 8:00am for registration / check in. As seating is limited, it is recommended that you purchase tickets online prior to the event.

Nominations Committee
This year’s Board of Directors Nomination Committee is comprised of Darlene Spray ([email protected]) and Bryan Thomas ([email protected]). There are 4 directors whose terms are due. All four are willing to stand for another term. If you know someone who you think would be a good addition to the board, please contact a member of the committee to nominate them.
